Jail Resource Management

administrator must be especially skilled in managing scarce resources.
Overview
This 24-hour program helps jail administrators hone their skills in several key areas:
- Determining the jail’s resource needs
- Managing budget influences outside the jail
- Developing, justifying, and presenting budget requests
- Developing a resource management plan
- Tracking use of resources
- Managing through funding cuts and unanticipated expenses
Audience
Jail Resource Management is designed for jail administrators. If the jail also has a budget director, the administrator and budget director may attend as a team.
