This 24-hour program helps jail administrators hone their skills in several key areas:

  • Determining the jail’s resource needs
  • Managing budget influences outside the jail
  • Developing, justifying, and presenting budget requests
  • Developing a resource management plan
  • Tracking use of resources
  • Managing through funding cuts and unanticipated expenses

Audience

Jail Resource Management is designed for jail administrators. If the jail also has a budget director, the administrator and budget director may attend as a team.
