The Academy Division invites you to be a part of visioning the next forty years and the role of leadership, innovation and collaboration in our future success! During this interactive session, we will bring together Learning and Performance professionals to address the most pressing issues facing corrections learning today including: • Ensuring learning and performance competency development • Continuing professional development of learning and performance professionals • Leveraging technology for learning in corrections • Facilitating Collaborative efforts for collective goals • Applying research to corrections learning and performance.

Overview

The National Institute of Corrections has been a center of corrections learning for 40 years. During this interactive session, we will bring together Learning and Performance professionals to address the most pressing issues facing corrections learning today including: • Ensuring learning and performance competency development • Continuing professional development of learning and performance professionals • Leveraging technology for learning in corrections • Facilitating Collaborative efforts for collective goals • Applying research to corrections learning and performance Who Should Attend: Learning and Performance professionals from local, state and federal adult and juvenile corrections settings including jails, prisons, community corrections, juvenile detention, juvenile probation and parole, US Probation, Federal Bureau of Prisons, and Pre Trial Services. Specifically – anyone who works in Learning and Performance including Training Directors, Training Administrators, Training Coordinators, Full-Time Trainers, Part-Time Trainers (Adjunct or Field), and Curriculum Designers regardless of time in role.
