ANNOTATION: This report ascertains the reliability and validity of the Static-99/RRASOR (Rapid Risk Assessment for Sexual Offense Recidivism) to determine the risk of recidivism by sex offenders. The report is comprised of an executive summary and three parts: introduction, reliability study, and validation. "The Static-99/RRASOR is a reliable and valid instrument for assessing sex offenders' risk to recidivate" (p. ii).
