Elizabeth (Beth) Kreger, CPM, M.A. has over 30-years of experience working in adult and juvenile corrections. She is a National Programs Advisor for the National Institute of Corrections.
She served as the Assistant Administrator at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce in the Adult Options Unit from November 2020-July 2024. Beth began her corrections career with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction as a Parole Officer in 1994. She has also served in the role of Professional Development Specialist, New Employee Orientation Supervisor, and the Curriculum Director at the Ohio Corrections Training Academy.
Her experience includes research, design, develop and facilitating training topics to various federal, state, local law enforcement agencies. She has facilitated live broadcasts and virtual lead training sessions nationwide; created, distributed, collated, and compiled nationwide training needs assessments.
Beth is a certified DACUM facilitator through the DACUM International Training Center at Ohio State University. Beth designed, developed, implemented, and analyzed level 1 and level 3 evaluations for the ODRC’s New Employee Orientation training program. As a result of the evaluations, the New Employee Orientation program transitioned from a lecture-based model to a facilitative type
model.
Beth served on the IACTP Board of Directors representing Training Academies from September 2018-September 2020 and served as President from September 2022-July 2024.
