In 2023, Kendall began working with the National Institute of Corrections (NIC), as a National Programs Advisor in the Community Services Division. He brings over 25+ years of service in the field of community corrections and held executive leadership roles in the State of Arizona and State of Alaska. Kendall’s professional experience spans the adult and juvenile justice systems, youth detention, parole and court administration. Kendall served on the Psychiatric Security Review Board for the State Hospital of Arizona, Chair of the Committee on Probation Education (COPE), and was a member of the Commission on Minorities in the Judiciary. Throughout his career, Kendall has worked to advance the use of evidence-based practices and promote leadership development within organizations where he has worked.

Kendall graduated from Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Justice Studies. He later earned a Masters Degree in Counseling and Education from Northern Arizona University and has experience providing domestic violence, anger management and drug counseling.
