Building Unity in the Workplace
Our workforce and economy have become more global, and our employees and the communities we serve are more multicultural. Changes in demographics and family structure today demand an understanding of our attitudes toward those who may be different from us. A practice of inclusion rather than exclusion can unlock the potential of a diverse workforce. The bottom line is, we want to create a culture of respect and understanding. Valuing diversity requires the creation of a workplace climate that allows everyone to fully contribute respectfully of their abilities. This program reviews all elements of diversity and allows participants to actively practice positive skills in a non-threatening environment. These skills are equally applicable in dealing with the public, and community partners.
