The Chief Legal Counsel Network is comprised of the individuals who provide legal advice for the fifty state Departments of Corrections, the BOP, the District of Columbia, and the five specifically identified urban/large jail systems in the country. Participants will discuss current and emerging trends in Correctional Law, best practices in their organizations to address legal concerns, and an opportunity to network with others involved in the same work.

About Travel-Related Expenses

If participant travel is required, authorized travel-related expenses will be reimbursed within 60 to 90 days of the conclusion of this event. Flights are paid for in advance by NIC. Reimbursable expenses include lodging, per diem (meals and incidentals), baggage, parking, and mileage. Additional details for reimbursable expenses will be provided when travel arrangements are made by NIC.
