Description of the Program

This is a training designed to incorporate both the Parole Board Chairs and members into one cohesive training to explore best practices in paroling decision making, utilization of data informed decision making, working with victims, understanding assessments and working with stakeholders. This is a pilot program. 

Parole Board Chairs and members are the eligible participants for this training. We are encouraging full boards or at minimum half of the board participation.

About Travel-Related Expenses

If participant travel is required, authorized travel-related expenses will be reimbursed within 60 to 90 days of the conclusion of this event. Flights are paid for in advance by NIC. Reimbursable expenses include lodging, per diem (meals and incidentals), baggage, parking, and mileage. Additional details for reimbursable expenses will be provided when travel arrangements are made by NIC.
