Strategic Inmate Management (SIM) is the intentional integration of the elements of Inmate Behavior Management and the principles and strategies of Direct Supervision as a unified operational philosophy. It is an evolution of the Direct Supervision and Inmate Behavior Management training and assistance NIC has previously offered. The goal of this program is to prepare agency leaders for their role in ensuring the success of the role in ensuring the success of effective inmate management regardless of the physical plant layout.

About Travel-Related Expenses

If participant travel is required, authorized travel-related expenses will be reimbursed within 60 to 90 days of the conclusion of this event. Flights are paid for in advance by NIC. Reimbursable expenses include lodging, per diem (meals and incidentals), baggage, parking, and mileage. Additional details for reimbursable expenses will be provided when travel arrangements are made by NIC.
