Cooperative Agreement - Documenting and Developing Two Leadership Curriculum Packages

The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is seeking applications for funding under the Fiscal Year 2019.  Work under this cooperative agreement involves the documenting and developing of two curriculum packages: NIC’s Correctional Leadership Development (CLD) and Management Development for the Future (MDF).

Goals, Objectives, Deliverables 

The following sections outline the steps at each phase of the series, and the collaboration between NIC and the awardee.

1) Kick Off Meeting: During the meeting, clarification of goals, objectives and deliverables will occur. This will include establishment of initial deadlines, and validation of roles.
 
2) Audit Current Course Materials Using NIC’s Course Design Audit Checklist: Awardee will audit existing curriculum package materials for both courses using NIC’s Course Design Audit Checklist, which NIC will send to awardee.
 
3) Curriculum Capture / Course Documentation / Development Work Begins: Awardee begins curriculum capture of current CLD and MDF course structure as deliveries occur.
 
4) Delivery of Draft Captured and Documented Materials / Development for NIC Review: As course documentations and any needed new curriculum development is accomplished, NIC will begin review of each piece and make recommendations for further changes.
 
Deadline.  All applications are due to be submitted and in receipt of a successful validation message in Grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on April 26, 2019. Late applications will not be considered.
