The National Institutes of Health, Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) is hosting a webinar Sep 12, 2019 03:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada). The webinar is entitled "Mass Incarceration, Housing, and HIV/STI Risk: Focusing Attention on Women". It will feature Kim M. Blankenship, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology and Assistant Dean of Research, College of Arts and Sciences at American University. Dr. Blankenship will discuss the role that mass incarceration plays on women’s HIV/sexually transmitted infection risks, as well as the access to and provision of housing for women affected by mass incarceration.
