The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) provides services directly to practitioners working in state, local, and federal adult corrections. NIC provides leadership to influence correctional policies, practices, and operations nationwide in areas of emerging interest and concern to correctional executives and practitioners, as well as public policymakers.
The Community Services Division coordinates technical assistance, specialized training, and other programs related to pretrial, probation, parole, and other forms of community-based supervision. The Division also sponsors the development of publications and materials focused on Pretrial services.
Correctional practitioners registered for the 2020 NAPSA Virtual Conference will have have premier access to NIC's virtual exhibition booth as well as special NIC sessions and workshops.
