The Criminal Justice Coordinating Councils (CJCC) training is a topical, leadership initiative designed for CJCC Chairs and Vice Chairs. The program involves 40 hours of hybrid training. The training will focus on the NIC Essential Elements for CJCCs as well as building collaborations with local Sheriffs.' To date, there is no other training provided for this leadership group, and it will be the first of its kind. This training will improve the efficacy in planning of local criminal justice systems. It will be a team training, for stakeholders to learn in a positive collaborative environment. This program is currently being developed and training is expected to begin in mid-2026. Additional details will be available soon.
