The Executive Leadership Training for New Wardens is a 32-hour training that focuses on enhancing skills in areas essential to effective leadership and the administration of a correctional institution. Being a warden is one of the most daunting, yet rewarding, opportunities a corrections professional can achieve. Yet, the internal and external expectations and accountability that accompany this position can affect a warden's leadership ability and management of facility operations.'Though instructor-led, in-person training, new wardens develop the skills and knowledge necessary to address the unique challenges of their role.
