Strategic Inmate Management (SIM) - Officer-Supervisor Train the Trainer equips supervisors for their role in implementing and sustaining Strategic Inmate Management. This instructor-led, in-person training gives supervisors an opportunity to enhance their supervisory skills. For housing officers, the program prepares them to learn more about SIM as a method of reducing problem inmate behavior, determining the most effective way to interact with inmates, and developing specific strategies to promote positive inmate behavior. The T4T portion of the training allows agency trainers to start working with NIC's curriculum under SIM instructor guidance.
