Whether working in an institutional or community corrections environment, corrections professionals are faced daily with myriad challenges, from working with at-risk populations to collaborating with peers and leaders, addressing queries from the media and public, and meeting the demand of friends and family. Maintaining the safety and security of our staff, incarcerated individuals, and the general public is paramount in this work. Staff are the corrections profession’s most valuable resource.
