Management Development for the Future (MDF) is a dynamic, agency-exclusive, individual, and organizational development experience that primarily targets the middle management tier of a correctional organization. It is composed of three hybrid phases occurring over approximately 12 months. Learning strategies used in this hybrid development series include independent e-learning courses, an online 360-degree feedback leadership assessment, additional assessments, individual reading assignments, individual developmental coaching sessions, and the development of personal leadership development plans. Participants will prepare a dynamic Leadership Plan and undertake action-based learning projects focused on the relevant issues in their agencies to apply skills and strategies learned in the program to build organizational capacity and manage organizational change.
