In collaboration with the National Corrections Industries Association (NCIA) the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) provides Correctional Industries Leadership Training that promotes collaborative strategic planning, institutional safety and security, and effective operational practices for prison and jail correctional industry programs.

Based on evidence-based practices, the 40-hour blended training helps organizations establish a foundation for addressing criminogenic risk factors, soft-skills, and gainful attachment to the workforce while providing a constructive environment to reduce institutional idleness and disciplinary infractions.
