The National Sheriffs' Institute - Communications consists of 40 hours of instructor-led, in-person training designed to prepare sheriffs to inspire, motivate, inform, build trust, or navigate change in a way that aligns with the mission, values, and vision of the organization. This requires an intentional and deliberate mindset supported by strategies that encompass the best practices of leadership and communication to meet the organization's desired outcomes.
Participants must be sheriffs or an NIC-approved designee.
