Leadership Development for Supervisors is formal training aimed at developing, supporting, enhancing, and expanding the role of the supervisor. The curriculum aligns supervisory training across disciplines and enhances the knowledge and skills available to supervisory staff. This training advances public safety by training the leaders of tomorrow. The training incorporates a variety of instructional strategies, including lectures, small group work, and individual activities, all in a virtual format, with participants from across disciplines and jurisdictions, including the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Target Audience

Eligible participants include new supervisors with one year or less of supervisory duties.
