The NSI Communicating for Impact course is an intensive four-day training program held at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. This dynamic course is designed to enhance a sheriff's ability to inspire, motivate, inform, build trust, and effectively lead change in a manner that promotes their organization's vision and values. Through engaging discussions and practical exercises, attendees will delve into critical aspects of both internal and external communications, strategies for effectively communicating change efforts, impactful written communications, and navigating the complexities of media coverage. The curriculum includes hands-on practical exercises such as simulated press conferences and virtual interviews, providing invaluable real-world experience. The program culminates in participants developing a comprehensive communications strategy tailored to their specific organization, empowering them to maximize their impact and achieve their strategic objectives.
Prerequisites:
The NSI Leadership Development course is a prerequisite for attending the NSI Communicating for Impact course.
