Strategic Development of Women Leaders is a 32-hour, evidence-based training that supports women in executive correctional roles. The program utilizes 360-degree assessments and coaching to foster self-awareness, leadership authenticity, and ongoing professional development.
The training objectives focus on developing key skills, including improving communication, building effective teams, enhancing promotability, and increasing strategic thinking.
Eligible participants must be functioning at the level of Warden or above for at least three years, and a minimum of five years before retirement eligibility.
Pre-work will consist of selected reading and completion of performance questionnaire.
Some NIC programs utilize NIC's Learn Center.
