- Define MOUD and explain the FDA-approved medications used to treat opioid use disorder.
- Describe the neurobiology of addiction and the evidence base for MOUD in reducing recidivism, overdose, and mortality.
- Understand the public health and correctional imperatives for offering MOUD services, including legal and ethical considerations.
- Dispel common myths and stigmas surrounding MAT in correctional environments.
