Learning and Performance Symposium - The Learning Coach - Train the Trainer

The Learning and Performance Coach Train the Trainer is a 40-hour training program focused on preparing skilled performance coaches to deliver the Learning Coach Program. The Learning Coach is an extension of the Field Training Officer (FTO) On the Job (OJT) training program previously offered by NIC. 

This train the trainer program is comprised of five 8-hour in-person class days. The program focuses on developing instructor trainers that reinforce the importance of building and utilizing effective on-the-job coaching techniques. Throughout the course, participants will explore job task analysis, task performance checklist development, and practice Learning Coach program delivery. This program prepares skilled performance coaches to build capacity within their organization by developing program instructors. 

While not strictly required it is highly recommended that attendees have attended the 36-hour Learning Coach training.
