Working With Women
Description of the Program

This is a new curriculum combining the most effective aspects of Working with Women 101 and Safety Matters. This is an in person event for up to 30 people. In this program participants will learn the fundamentals of working with women in correctional settings, and specific skills to enhance those interactions. The curriculum is designed so that participants will leave with applicable skills and knowledge which will increase safety and security regardless of location.

About Travel-Related Expenses

If participant travel is required, authorized travel-related expenses will be reimbursed within 60 to 90 days of the conclusion of this event. Flights are paid for in advance by NIC. Reimbursable expenses include lodging, per diem (meals and incidentals), baggage, parking, and mileage. Additional details for reimbursable expenses will be provided when travel arrangements are made by NIC.
