2-day Gender Responsive 101 Foundational Training is for staff working in federal, state, local, and tribal correctional agencies. This 2-day program will focus on justice-involved women in custody or under supervision. The curriculum includes modules on the pathways that lead women into the criminal justice system, gender differences, the effects of abuse and trauma, medical and mental health concerns, and parenting stressors of the women incarcerated and on supervision.

About Travel-Related Expenses

If participant travel is required, authorized travel-related expenses will be reimbursed within 60 to 90 days of the conclusion of this event. Flights are paid for in advance by NIC. Reimbursable expenses include lodging, per diem (meals and incidentals), baggage, parking, and mileage. Additional details for reimbursable expenses will be provided when travel arrangements are made by NIC.
